Thank you for this post! I am just starting to ask for blurbs for my cookbook and it's much harder than writing it was :)
I just wrote about asking for blurbs last week, including the template I use. And Kate, I gave you a shoutout in yesterday's post :-)

Just finished the process of assisting an author w/ blurbs and this resonates a lot! People are busy! Email sucks!! I think the number we were shooting for was getting blurbs from half of the folks we asked, which is on the high end.
