As a reader diving into this article, I appreciate how it sets clear expectations from the start—much like the strategic planning needed in Pokerogue! It's refreshing to find content that aligns insights with a touch of wit, just like the game itself. Looking forward to more reads that blend clarity with a hint of playful strategy.

Thank you, Kate. Setting precise goals are so important in life whatever the project because it gives you a direction and, for those who believe in it, it gives clear instructions to the Universe to set synchronicities on. In Quantum Physics, the observer plays a huge role in the state and behavior of the particule he is observing and I believe it is true about a book and its author, we have a role to play in the way we « observe » it, our enthousiasm, which can be very contagious, and tenacity around the project are crucial especially to achieve « unattainable » dreams. And trust that all that is happening is always in your best interest. Have faith. Lots of love.

As an emerging debut author, I love dreaming up fantasy scenarios that incorporate my goals. For example: I want a collaborative agent who advocates for my career and novel. I want an office with a door, sunbeams for the cats, and a view of trees. I want to connect with readers, speak at conferences, and host workshops.

Your wants gave me concrete ideas for wants, and I’m borrowing a few of yours. But first, like you, I have to finish the book first! I want to finish my manuscript this July, send it to beta readers, and go on submission in September. 🌺♥️🌺

That's a great list!

I'll add to it that I'd love to be sent to Paris to do a book tour like Evelyn Skye was ☺️
