I simply can't put myself in their shoes. I'm not exactly normal though, I was living in a car in the projects of San Francisco at 12 in the late 70s! Needless to say I didn't have a cell phone, only the Jetson's did back then, :)
I don’t think you have to but yourself in their shoes to connect with an agent of any age. I’m fact, it’s incumbent upon THEM to find a way into YOUR shoes. I’m not naive enough to say ageism doesn’t exist in publishing or elsewhere but I’m not looking for books that only reflect my experiences or worldview.
